Staircases, balustrades and handrails
Oak staircases, glass balustrades and new spindles and handrails, fitted so they feel solid underfoot and under hand.

Stairs are the first thing you see in most hallways, and a tired balustrade dates a house quickly. I fit new handrails, newel posts and spindles, and glass balustrades with oak handrails for a more open look.
Every part of a staircase has to be secure, not just look right. Newels are fixed solid, handrails are set at the right height and spindles are spaced correctly.
Slatted timber screens are another option where you want light to come through but still want a barrier.
Stairs and staircases: recent jobs
What customers said
Liam fitted our kitchen, downstairs toilet and laid flooring throughout. He is hard working, a perfectionist and above all a nice bloke. Would certainly have him back!
Stairs, doors, skirting, architrave and flooring all done. Very pleased.
Questions people ask
Can you replace just the balustrade?
Yes. Many staircases are sound and only need a new handrail, newels and spindles or glass to look new.
Do you fit glass balustrades?
Yes, with an oak handrail, as in the photos.
Can you do the stairs, doors and flooring together?
Yes. One customer had stairs, doors, skirting, architrave and flooring all done in one go.
